Hackers and cheeky midweek beers !

Having let slip that Gentlemen John Hackers was in town to a few of the boys one afternoon and that I would be joining him for a jar or two Wednesday evening the next thing I knew the team ammased had risen to seven willing mid week drinkers ?

Either John is very popular or work very unpopular I think to get such a positive and slightly irresponsible crowd lined up ! Unfortunately for Leigh (a dedicated Cougar hunter from the Sydney suburbs) non of the eight 50+ plus BA purple rinse crusty hosties from John's crew turned out that evening up to lap up his cheesy (but always very succesful) lines !

Finally calling it quits just in time to grab the last seabus - this was perhaps in hindsight not the best preparation for a days work that would be followed by a nine hour flight back to Blighty and the impending Bell wedding in Aberdeen.

Thankfully John looked a damn sight better than me the following day when we hooked up for a burger hit lunch. Some how I think the next five days may not be the most healthy I have ever put my body through ? But as they say......... It's a marathon - not a sprint !
