Stigs' fitness regime begins !

Well, hold on to your ribs............ stig got nobbled into running 10K through the forests of UBC (University of British Columbia) out on the pacific west side of Vancouver in support of a local old folks home on his first weekend. Yeah OK......... you can stop laughing now !!!

Bobs little sister, a SA friend of theirs and I made up the team and no walking was witnessed from start to finish which I considered more of an achievement than any time registered. Of course feeling some what proud of ourselves any good work done was immediateley undone by spending the afternoon sun at a boozer called the 'five point' on main street near bobs house. Needless to say the odd chicken wing and pale ale was witnessed in the vicinity ??
Oh well............. you can't start too quickly now !

I can't believe you just ran 10 km without any training or without having to stop. Last time I tried to run around the block I thought I was going to have a heart attack and my shins would shatter it hurt so much. I really must do more exercise.....
I kinda preferred the Virginia method on bikes better. Particularly so when a gallon of sam adams is consumed in front of any stealth mission on the cards to Chadwicks !!
I repeated the "bikes and Chadwicks" combo last night, though this time without falling off on the way home. The bike is definitely sporting "unidentified drinking injuries" from last time as it won't change down below 4th gear.... ;-)
